Before spring break we sent home a *pink* 1/2 page form asking whether or not your child would be returning to Alamo. The form needs to be completed by every family for each child currently enrolled at Alamo except 5th graders, who are moving on to middle school. Without this form, we cannot include your child in planning for next year's classes. Please return the form by THIS COMING MONDAY, APRIL15.

Click HERE if you need another copy or see Ms. Shellie for another form. Turn your form in as soon as possible!

The annual Science Fair takes place this Friday, April 12, 2019. Exhibits will be open in the auditorium from 5:30 -7:00 pm. Students will have an opportunity to see the projects with their class during the day.

2nd/3rd: Room 202 - Ms. Ikeda
4th/5th: Room 211 - Mr. Barisonek

Next week's classroom challenge will be a Music and Popcorn Party with Ms. Kat for those who sell the most tickets!

Please continue to sell raffle tickets to support Music, Literacy, Outdoor science, Technology, PE, Art programs and more at Alamo.  Without your help and support these programs cannot continue.  Please help us reach our $30,000 goal!

If you have any questions or would like to help us make this even more successful by volunteering a small amount of time during the month of April please contact your raffle Co-chairs  Vanessa Thomas and Lily Wong.

Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) is a public agency. The Smarter Balances Assessment, or SBA, is an online assessment system aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Testing will begin for 3rd-5th graders on Monday, April 15 and concludes on May 14. Please be sure to ensure your chid gets enough sleep, eats breakfast every day, and arrives on time. Late children create a distraction for the other students.

Join Alamo families at one of our three designated meeting points on Thursday, April 18 at 8:00 am.

From the East: California and 19th Avenue

From the West: Rochambeau Playground (25th b/t Lake and California)

From the South: Fire Station on 26th Avenue, between Geary and Anza

Please continue to reach out to fellow business, acquaintances, etc to acquire donation items for the Auction. All completed donation forms can be dropped off to the office directly and left in the Auction cubby. If you need a copy of the donation form, please reach out to Tejal or download a copy from our website

All proceeds will go towards choral music, dance, a literacy specialist, outdoor garden science, physical education, ceramics, and other programs that enrich and improve our children’s education, but are minimally or not funded by the school district.
