March 12, 2019
First off, I hope to see many of you at our EVENING PTA meeting tomorrow (Wed. March 13) at 6:15pm in the Library. We’ll hear from teacher Jess Lewis about our new Health Ed curriculum - and much more. Yummy snacks for the grown ups (and pizza for any kids who need to be there.) If you cannot make morning meetings, this is your chance!
Our second annual 75 Morton Auction is fast approaching! I know you have your calendars marked for Thursday, April 4, but do you also have your item donations ready to send to the Auction Committee?
Please fan out and collect DONATIONS! Be creative - or be predictable - all items will get a bid and raise money for our school. If you need ideas, just click on THIS LINK.
The Auction is an important community and fundraising event. We really do count on the PTA (i.e. the families of 75 Morton) to support:
- Classroom Libraries
- Field Trips
- Student Supplies
- Art and Music Supplies
- Professional Development
- Teacher Start-up Fund
- School Dances and Events
Last year’s Auction was so much fun - and we know this year will be even bigger and more exciting! How often do we get all of our families together? This night has the potential for building new friendships, raising money, and supporting our school. I look forward to seeing you in our beautiful gymatorium. BTW - if you do feel the floor bouncing a teeny bit - no worries - it has springs beneath it!
