  • Performance Dance with Jess: Wednesdays, 3:20 - 4:35pm. All styles of dance are used in this class. Auction Action: Seeking Sponsorships, Food & Beverage and more...

Save the date!  The auction party is just ONE MONTH away so we are in full auction mode – and we need your help! It’s all hands on deck.

Food & Beverage: We have the space - our very own gymatorium. We have the permit.  But we need your help with food and drinks! We're on the hunt for businesses to donate food and beverages so that most of the money raised from our Auction directly benefits our students. If you or someone you know owns or works for a restaurant, catering business, or is in the food or beverage industry, we want to hear from you! Please email us at

Donations, Donations, DonationsIt’s not too late - we are extending our deadline to March 15. We’ve received some fabulous donations but we still need many more! Ask your favorite places – restaurant, barber, nail salon, gym, clothing/jewelry store – to help support public education. Or consider what you might be able to donate – tickets to a sporting event/show, artwork, tour of your office, a stay at your weekend home. You can submit your item donation online at GiveSmart | 75M Online Donation. Or you can go old school and download the Donation Form. Envelope-sized donations can be dropped in our safe (top slot), located in the PTA room (next to the main school office). Larger items should be left with Jill Bennett, our Parent Coordinator extraordinaire, in the main office.

Sponsorships: Looking to support the auction? Consider being an Auction Sponsor for $500. Sponsorships help underwrite the costs of our event so we can raise as much money as possible for our students. It’s a great way for a business to support the event while exposing its brand to the 75 Morton community. More information on sponsorships HERE.

Auction Band members: Start-up meeting for our super cool parent/teacher/staff band will be Wed. Mar. 6 at 8:45am in the PTA room. Short and sweet to get the ball rolling. Any questions – or if you can't make the meeting and want to play – email Rob Youngberg at

6th Grade Out-Lunch Starts Monday – Check Out the Schedule!

It’s finally happening - 6th graders are heading to out-lunch (with parent and school permission) starting this Monday, March 4! Please note that we are unable to accept new sign-ups for 6th grade out-lunch. (You can click on image above for neighborhood map.)

Due to the number of 6th graders, we have created the following out-lunch schedule:

  • Group A: Classes 610, 611, 612, 613, 630 - Every Monday and Tuesday
  • Group B:  Classes 620, 621, 622, 623, 631, 632 - Every Wednesday and Thursday
  • Fridays will alternate between Group A and Group B. Lunch Schedules will be printed and posted around the school so your student knows when they may go out.

If a student has forgotten, lost, or misplaced their ID card, they may not go to out-lunch until it is found or replaced, and the $5 lost card fee is paid.

CAASS Attendance Text Alerts Coming Next Week...

We will be activating the CAASS Entry Alerts on Monday, March 4. It is imperative that your child bring their ID card with them every day and that it is easily accessible upon their arrival at school.

Please note: These alerts should not replace any protocols you currently have in place with your student(s) for when they arrive at school (i.e. texting or calling you).

The building opens for students eating breakfast at 8am – and for all others at 8:25am. School officially starts at 8:40am. You should receive a text message shortly after your child swipes into school. If your child swipes in anytime after 8:41am, a late pass will be generated which they will bring to their teacher. The text you receive will indicate that they have arrived and are tardy. Students will be able to swipe in until 9am. If your child arrives after that time, they will go to the main office for a late pass.

If your student has not swiped into school by 9:30am, you will receive a text message to that effect.

Please note that only one adult per student can receive the CAASS text alert. If you did not receive an email to set up your text alert, it means you are not the primary email on your student’s account. If you did receive an email but did not complete the necessary Google form, please email Jose Padilla at

75 Morton Winter Sports Teams Score Impressive Records!

All of our 75 Morton sports teams racked up impressive records this season. The JV Girls were 4-2 and Varsity Girls were 4-3; Varsity Boys were 5-3 and JV Boys were 2-5. All teams made the playoffs and did a terrific job! Varsity Girls played their hearts out and Girls JV lost by just 3 points this Wednesday against a team that had a record of 10-2. Amazing growth by all teams!
