Dear Families,

Welcome Back! I want to share a few things I was thinking about while on vacation….

  1. The Snow Ball Dance was delightful on every level. It was an event that highlighted the energy and work of our community of families. It was also an event that highlighted our wonderful children – who were so well behaved and gracious, saying THANK YOU on the way out!

  2. The 6th grade Social Studies Celebration of Ancient Egypt study set a standard of excellence for all of us. I cannot adequately express how much I loved it. The projects, the writing, and the creativity astounded me. I wanted every project installed in my home! I thanked the Social Studies team over and over, and asked all the staff to visit the library and see the work our students can produce.

75 Morton is a school bursting with strong teaching, stimulating conversation, laughter and big questions. The staff strives to harness the energy of our students – crafting the thinking and talk and voices into beautiful work. We gather evidence every day that demonstrates our deep belief in the power of our 75 Moton students. The Snow Ball and Social Studies Celebration are just two examples of their strength.

With Respect,

P.S. Three important items coming up this week:
