6th Grade! Literacy Talk Switched to Thurs. Feb. 28; Ancient Egypt Museum Thurs. & Fri. Feb. 14 & 15

The 6th grade ELA/Literacy workshop (previously announced for Fri. Feb. 15) has been shifted to Thurs. Feb. 28 at 8:45am in the Library. We apologize for any inconvenience. Join us as we explore the learning units and look ahead to the NY State ELA test on April 2 & 3. We will take a deep dive into the thinking of 6th grade readers and discuss strategies to help your student learn to love to read.

Coffee and bagels – and possibly a bundt cake(!) – will be served.

Meanwhile, 6th grade parents should have received an invite from your student's Social Studies teacher to attend the 'Ancient Egyptian Museum" in the Library. On Feb. 14 & 15, 6th grade families are invited - one class at a time - to explore the mysteries of ancient Egypt and celebrate a moment of creation and discovery. Check out the Schedule Here to find out when you are invited!
