Please Take Our Community Builder Survey... and Save the Date of Fri. Nov. 16!

Our Community Builder Team is hard at work dreaming up activities - for kids and for adults - to connect our 75 Morton extended family and build a strong community.

But we need to hear from YOU! Please take 3 minutes to complete THIS SURVEY which will help inform the 'what, where and when' of all the fun stuff we want to plan. We need your response by Tues., Oct. 30 at 9pm.

And please Save-the-Date of Fri. evening, Nov. 16 for our first fun-filled event. We're not committing to it until we've got your survey results;)... but we've got a fun idea in the works!

Do you have questions, ideas or concerns about our website, our social media presence or our communications systems?

Come to the first meeting of our Communications Team - next Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 8:45am in the PTA/Community Room (ground floor, next to the main school office).

We are eager for your input - whether you've got a whole lot of experience with social media/web design or you just have a cool idea about how we can communicate better. Please join us!

Candy Drive Collection Nov. 1, 2 and 5!

Remember... after the ghouls go home and the costumes are stashed away... you can bring any candy you want to 'disappear' into school - and we will put it to good use! Our Candy Drive - part of Operation Shoebox - will help support troops deployed overseas and returning home.

Please have your child drop off candy in the collection boxes in the lobby - Thursday, Nov. 1, Friday, Nov. 2 and Monday, Nov. 5.

Announcements & Reminders

  • 6th Grade Assembly with Rock for Human Rights! Our 6th graders were treated to an amazing assembly on Tuesday morning by Rock for Human Rights. The line-up included a live performance by Wil Seabrook and his band and a series of videos - all designed to educate students about the 30 universal human rights... in plain English. It was amazing!
