Help Needed for Round Two of Electives
Electives are off to a great start, thanks to all the exciting classes offered by Polaris staff, volunteers, and visiting teachers. Help keep the magic and momentum going by volunteering 2nd quarter.
Classes meet Friday afternoons: November 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th and Dec. 7th.
Some ways to get involved:
- Propose and develop your idea for a new elective class
- Teach from one of our existing curricula
- Assist in your child’s elective class
- Consider financially sponsoring an elective with one of our visiting teachers from the community.
If interested, please contact Deb Aruca at Polaris.Electives@gmail.com by Friday, October 5th.

Support Our School

Jogathon Pledges Are Due TODAY
Get those envelopes turned into the white Jogathon box in the office. If your child has not yet knocked on doors, sent a few emails, or shamelessly solicited donations at your workplace now is the time. Every 5 pledges they earn gives them an extra chance at our fabulous raffle prize drawing! Don't forget the winning class earns a class party and super cool swag bag! We are aiming for $35,000 so this is the time to step it up and help your child and their class win. Please contact Carrie Lamb at polarisptojogathon.comClick here to donate online!

Fund the Gap Update
As of October we've raised $9,660 towards our dollar goal of $130,000 to fund paraprofessionals in our classrooms, our amazing Friday Electives program, and STEAM equipment and supplies. Thank you to everyone who has contributed. Didn't get a chance to donate? No sweat! Help bridge the funding gap by clicking here. We greatly appreciate any contributions.
