Good Kids, Bad Habits

Does your child rush through homework, have trouble staying focused, procrastinate, or lack motivation? Come learn three simple tools that will stop your child’s after-school bad habits.  This workshop will give parents specific tools for communication, time-management, and motivation that will help us become confident and effective coaches for our children. Yulia Rafailova is an academic coach who has helped thousands of students with a wide range of abilities. Her interactive workshops give parents the tools they need to help their children become responsible and independent people.

Please avoid pencil and use pen or markers instead. Colorful illustrations are encouraged!

Annual Giving - LAST WEEK!!!!
LAST WEEK of the Annual Giving campaign!
Please help us get closer to our goal of 100% participation!
A nearby school achieved 97% participation; COLFAX families can do this too!
·        Any amount counts, Give What You Can.  Whether that is $10, $25 or more, each and every donation is beneficial and counts towards participation!
·       When applying for grants, foundations like to see a high percentage of participation.  If we can tell foundations that we have 100% participation in parent donations, we may be eligible for more funding

As of today we have achieved 48.7% family participation.
Support our school, the families that have given, the students and the teachers by giving a donation that is meaningful to your family

The grade with the highest level of participation by the end of this week will get a special POPCORN PARTY!
1st grade is in the lead but it is still possible for other grades to catch up!
Current standings:
First Grade   70.5%                        # of donations needed catch 1st:
